Signalling his "metamorphosis from Iron Condor to Isotope Flow Glider", Cappo's latest offering, Gusto Grizwold: International Vacation, sees the Notts veteran sharpen his tools and marks the debut output from his own label, Under The Caps Records. This gets an official release on 19 Nov but you can buy it right now, whilst you can also get a free leak of the raucous Fitted & Snapback.

Yes, yes, yes! This free download was unleashed a few days back and absolutely kills it. Definitely the best UK hip hop track I've heard this year so far.

UK All Day strongly recommends you download this song - then spin it on repeat. Head nod ish at its dopest.

Cappo Meets T.O.N.Y

When this LP dropped, T.O.N.Y was that song. I remember it getting repeated spins on Westwood's show, and for good reason - it's a great slice of that inimitable New York grittiness.

Now, I'm a big Cappo fan and am looking forward to what he's got in store this year because, as I read in an interview, he's lining something up that's going to "smash planets". Not in a "look at me I'm 'ard" way, but Capps is tough. The bully that never picked on anyone in particular. Uncut rawness.

Anyway, in a coming together of great things, here's a dub that he did for Excalibah over CNN's Top Of New York Bloody Money.

I'm glad Cappo is still hungry and putting in work. This man is a raw MC and a personal favourite that I kind of forgot about. Can't wait to hear this EP, which drops 16 November.
